Are you looking for warm water to swim in this summer? Christina Lake has the warmest water of any tree-lined lake in Western Canada. There are 300 meters of sandy beaches where you can go for a swim or enjoy a nice picnic. The lake is always lively, with plenty of kayaking, water skiing, inner tubing, boating, and fishing going on in the summer.
Christina Lake Golf and Country Club is a beautiful 18-hole course located on a plateau surrounded by the Kettle River, and featuring stunning views of the Selkirk Mountains. The front of the course was built in 1962 and allows you to focus on your short game. The back of the course features many strategic black sand bunkers, water hazards, and elevated trees.
Looking for a family-friendly golf course? Stop by the Cascade Par 3 Golf Course. It is a nine-hole golf course designed to talk about an hour and twelve minutes to play. It is a family-friendly course, with walk-ins welcome. There is also a disc golf course if throwing a disc with friends and family is more your style.
Gladstone Provincial Park is located in the Selkirk Foothills, surrounded by the Monashee Mountains. The park is well-known for its campground and has a unique habitat, a winter range area for deer and elk, and numerous old-growth cedar and hemlock trees. Numerous hiking trails lead down to little pocket beaches where you can enjoy the lake with your family.
Want to experience the area on horseback? Then check out Owl Mountain Ranch, a family-owned ranch that offers year-round scenic horseback tours. This popular destination contains over 100 acres of beautiful rolling green hills and lots of space to enjoy a fun and engaging trail ride.
Want some help exploring all the great outdoors has to offer in the area? Head over to WildWays, an award-winning outdoor adventure and retail shop. You can rent equipment to explore the great outdoors—such as kayaks and bikes—and book a tour of the Kettle Valley Railgrade.
Be sure to stop by the Christina Lake Marina, where you can check out all the boats tied to the docks. You can also rent boats and other water sports equipment. Are you visiting in the summer? Be sure to make a reservation!
The Christina Living Arts Centre features a visitor center for Christina Lake and an artisan studio and gallery. You can check out the art in the center and learn about all the trails and recreational activities in the area.
Ready to put on your hiking shoes? Visit the Cascade Gorge Trail and enjoy the five-kilometer hiking and cycling route. This is a family-friendly trail, suitable for all skill levels.
The nature park is a remarkable natural sanctuary you can visit during all four seasons. There are lots of hiking and biking trails and picnic areas. Numerous animals such as rabbits, turtles, and otters are always out and about and easy to spot.

A vacation isn’t complete until you take a break from cooking. We have many excellent restaurants where you can grab a bite or a pick-me-up treat!
Stop by the Portly Penguin Pizza if you’re craving a handmade slice. They offer excellent local gourmet pizzas. On a vegan diet? They provide vegan pizzas, complete with delicious vegan cheese! They’re open from 3 pm-10 pm every day of the week, making it the perfect place to grab some pizza after a day of outdoor adventures!
Step into The Ice Creamery and take a step back in time and appreciate the cute 1950s décor. They have numerous flavors, sure to satisfy the tastebuds of everyone in your group! They sell hard ice cream, soft-serve, old-fashioned malts, and candy! Bring a few quarters for the jukebox!
Enjoy a hot cup of certified organic coffee at Smoochies Brewing Co. They’re open May through November and serve breakfast and lunch. They offer a delicious array of pastries and treats.
While visiting the Marina, stop by Christina Lake Marina & Grill. They offer a simple and delicious menu of wraps, burgers, salads, and nachos. Are you craving a breakfast burger or a tasty wrap? They serve them all day! Need a treat? Grab a waffle ice cream cone.
Enjoy upscale casual dining at Dueling Oaks, where they serve seasonally inspired breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s the perfect place for good friends to meet and for couples to unwind and rekindle their romance. They’re open Wednesday-Sunday from 8 am-1 pm and 4 pm-9 pm.
The Wood Spoon Bistro serves breakfast and lunch and offers vegetarian and vegan options. They offer a seasonal menu using fresh ingredients, with dishes inspired by cuisines worldwide.
